| John Guare did not appear for his set date. Donald Brooks in light booth with Wonder Woman comic book, hearing Joe Cino say what are we going to do, we have to have something, showed Joe comic book and said "Let's do this! Joe immediately said yes,and sent out for more copies at Lamston's, Brooks suggested H. M. Koutoukas (who had just left the building) play Wonder Woman -- he was chased down the street, brought back and the show went up on time -- just changing the lights every time a frame ended. By the end of the week, no one needed the script (comic book) but carried them anyway. Others in the cast that night were Joe Cino, Johnny Dodd, Charles Stanley and Deborah Lee. |
